Lamborghini’s mean-looking €1 million Reventón may look like a stealth fighter without the wings, but a couple of Raging Bull test drivers decided to take on the real thing over the weekend. They raced a Tornado fighter bomber, one of the world's most sophisticated and capable interdiction and attack aircraft. Lined up on the 1.8 mile-long runway at Ghedi military base near Brescia in Italy, the 650bhp mid-engined supercar looked a little short of muscle compared to the two-seater Tornado.

It’s not difficult to work out when Top Gear has something to promote; they send us videos and stories. And with the Top Gear Live Show looming on the horizon, TG has just sent us video of The Stig taking Chris Evans for a blat in a 400bhp Black Cab. Just to make sure everyone knows that Top Gear Live has moved out to the ExCel Centre in East London, the hair-raising ride in the back of Stiggie’s cab was filmed in – and around – an underground car park at the Excel Centre.
Nissan’s NV200 London Taxi revealed in production guise
The lack of investment in the traditional London Taxi has left the door wide open for competitors, and Mercedes has made a good pitch with its Vito Taxi. But perhaps the most promising option for London Cabbies is the new Nissan NV200 Taxi for London – previewed over a year ago – which has now been fettled enough to be rolled out in something very close to production guise. Designed by Nissan’s London Design Studio, the NV200 Taxi for London is very similar to those Nissan has produced for other iconic taxi hotspots round the world – like the yellow New York Nissan Taxi – but comes with a bit of a pastiche of the traditional black cab’s nose with a new grill and round headlights.
